Teardrop Banners/Flags are also called Feather Flags, Beach Flags or P-Flags.

Signs Plus will custom design your Teardrop Banner and provide a proof before production. The Banners are constructed from strong polyester fabric.

Teardrop Banners come standard without a base, various base options available. If you regularly use your Teardrop Banner outside your business I would recommend placing a suitable pipe in the ground that the spike base will easily slide into, then it is a simple job to drop the flag into the pipe each morning. The X base comes with a shorter removable spike to aid stability. When using the X base outside you should always use a water bag when the centre spike is not used or tent pegs along with the centre spike and a water bag depending on the wind conditions.

Single sided prints give approximately an 85% bleed on the reverse side (mirror image).

Teardrop Banner Flag Care

The life of your fabric teardrop banner depends on the weather conditions as high winds, sunlight, dust and dirt all contribute to the break down of the fibres in the flag. This is especially prevalent in the sewn edges.

To extend the life of your flag bring it in when strong winds are predicted. It is a good idea to put your flag out each morning if weather permits and bring it in at night.

Bring your teardrop banner in each evening to extend its life.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are they ok to use in the wind?
It’s recommended that they are not to be used in heavy wind in case the poles break. Though we would recommend a single sided feather flag for windy areas.
Does the x-base include a spike for grass?
Yes, the x-base includes a small spike that can be removed or installed as needed. It's not recommended that this spike be used while the flag is in the wind and should only be used occasionally for sports days etc.
Are there custom options that aren't mentioned on your webpage?
Yes, we can design a custom option to suit your needs.
What is the best format to send artwork files?
Please send a vector file when possible. Such as an eps. ai. or pdf. file. Otherwise please send the best possible file you can.
Can I buy a replacement flag without a pole?
Yes, replacement flags can be purchased.
How long are they supposed to last when used all the time outdoors?
The colour fastness of the print and material is rated for 6 months use. The colour fastness will last longer when the design is screen printed.
Can I have the banners screen printed?
Yes, this is an option. But there is usually a minimum order quantity and it only applicable for certain designs. The colours of a screen printed banner and flag will last longer outdoors.
Will you guys provide a proof before the banners are made?
Yes, we will always provide a digital proof before production.
